What are the clothing styles of T.J. Detweiler and his friends?

They almost always wear the same iconic outfits:

T.J.: His white t-shirt, blue jeans, gray leather jacket, red sneakers, and red baseball cap. Simple yet cool.

Spinelli: Her big red t-shirt (I'm pretty sure it's an oversized t-shirt and not a dress, since she can't stand anything girly), orange and brown striped leggings, gray jacket, big gray combat boots that used to belong to her brother Vito, and orange ski cap. The whole ensemble screams "tough girl."

Vince: His off-white, blue-trimmed t-shirt, bright green "1" jersey, gray shorts, and black and white high-tops. As sporty as can be.

Gretchen: Her old-fashioned blue dress with its white sleeves and pink sash, pink socks, and saddle shoes. Outdated and nerdy-looking yet cute.

Rebecca Detweiler is the oldest child of Ellie and Sam Detweiler and often goes by Becky to close friends since she was gifted with the nickname in school, and it stuck. Becky is known around town as T.J.’s sarcastic yet beautiful big sister who owns Third Street restaurant and is a force to be reckoned with in the culinary and business world. Trained as a chef herself, Becky spent a lot of time travelling around the world and experiencing the foods that the world had to offer, and it was then that the idea for Third Street restaurant was born. Her creativity thrives when she’s cooking and finds it calming even though restaurant kitchens are notoriously high pressure environments, Becky is an ambitious woman who still to this day aims to achieve more in her career. She’s generally pretty easy to be around, but she can be temperamental, and her moods fluctuate, especially when her little brother has been in to annoy her. While she is nice to her friends and parents, she can be rather mean and rude to her younger brother and his friends, finding them all to be an annoyance. While Becky finds T.J. himself to be a pain in her side, deep down, she cares about him. Becky is protective over her baby brother and won’t hesitate to step in if someone was giving him issues. She’s aware T.J. is a problem to the people of Redwood Hollow at the time, but he’s her problem.

Favorite thing about them: He's just an all-around likable character. His zest for life and fun is infectious, and his street smarts, mischief, and elaborate schemes are always fun to watch. Yet despite being a troublemaker, he's also a kind, caring idealist and a devoted friend, who's always willing to help others or to stand up to injustice.

Least favorite thing about them: Well, at certain rare moments, he can be a bit harsh with people who provoke him or disappoint him enough – and he's occasionally been corrupted by power or greed, though he's far from the only kid in the series to go through that.

Three things I have in common with them:

*I was sometimes a leader among my friends in elementary school.

*I'm not good at devising elaborate plans or pranks.

Random headcanon: He's Jewish. Maybe this is just canon, even though it was never explicitly said: he played Harvey Hanukkah in the school's holiday pageant, and to cast a Gentile boy in that role would have been tone deaf even for Principal Prickly. My headcanon that his mother is Jewish by birth, while his father converted, which explains why his surname isn't a typically Jewish one.

Unpopular opinion: While I like T.J./Spinelli as a pairing, I'm less eager than some fans to read their every interaction as romance. They're nine years old!

Recess, in the Heroes 'Verse

The central theme of human evolution, and the potential for superhuman changes, is introduced by the character of T.J. Detweiler, a genetics professor in Madras, India. After receiving news of the death of his father, Sam Detweiler, T.J. goes to New York to finish Sam's research, believing it was the reason he was murdered. T.J.'s story also introduces the idea of an underlying conspiracy involving the "heroes".[1] At his father's apartment in India, he hears (but does not see) a mysterious person searching the apartment. The same man later gets into T.J.'s taxi, asking him several suspicious questions before T.J. flees.

Two storylines in particular reflect a darker perspective on the newfound abilities.[1] Jordan is a painter and heroin addict in New York City. He claims that he can paint the future, but his boyfriend, Jerome, believes it is merely the influence of narcotics. Later, following a severe overdose, he paints a mural of a nuclear explosion destroying Manhattan. Ashley Spinelli, a webcam stripper in Las Vegas, Nevada, discovers her abilities when she and her sister Cindy are forced to flee from thugs approaching their house. During the escape, Spinelli believes she sees a reflection that is not her. She leaves Cindy with a friend and returns home, where the thugs coerce her into stripping. She blacks out during the performance, awakening some time later to find that they have been savagely killed. Her strange reflection motions for her to keep silent. Both Jordan and Spinelli find their powers to be "an unwelcome change that they are forced to deal with."

Meanwhile, Gretchen Grundler, an office worker in Tokyo, Japan, discovers she can control the passage of time. Gretchen is presented in a lighter, happier manner than the other characters,[1] and as someone who is excited about the changes happening to her. Her friend and co-worker, Vince Lasalle, is skeptical, even after Gretchen proves it to him by teleporting into the men's restroom at a bar. Gretchen believes she is meant for something more, but Vince disagrees. Later, Gretchen successfully teleports from a subway in Tokyo to New York City's Times Square.

Other characters include Hector, a high school cheerleader in Odessa, Texas, who has discovered that he regenerates from any injuries, and has his classmate Tubby film him doing such things. He believes that if discovered, life as they know it would be over. Heading home, they come across a fiery train wreck, from which Hector saves a man, escaping unharmed.

Mikey Blumberg's story crosses paths with many of the other characters.[1] A hospice nurse in New York, Mikey has recurring dreams of flying. He tells his stepbrother, congressional candidate Gus Griswold, that he believes he can fly. Gus responds by saying that Mikey should put his time to better use. Mikey tells his mother that he has a metaphysical connection with Gus, but his mother is skeptical. Jerome, who is the brother of one of Mikey's patients, tells him to bring morphine to Jordan's apartment. There, Mikey sees a painting of himself flying. At the end of the episode, he summons Gus to an alley in the middle of the city. Mikey leaps off of the roof of an adjacent building attempting to fly, but instead it is Gus who flies up and catches him, only to lose his grip and drop Mikey.
